We are seeking a talented part-time
Organist for Worship in a music program featuring choirs for adults, youth,
children and hand bells. Degree in music with emphasis in organ preferred, as
is a minimum 3-5 years work experience in service playing. Two traditional Sunday morning worship
services are held in the sanctuary of First United Methodist Church in Dothan,
AL and focus on liturgy, prayers, preaching, and music in a variety of styles
from classical to gospel. Since there is already a piano accompanist for the choir,
duty is primarily limited to Sunday morning Worship and only occasional
Wednesday night rehearsal.
