Reaching Out: United Methodist Committee on Relief Disaster Response OKLAHOMA
First United Methodist Church is responding to the tornado disaster in Oklahoma.  If you would like to make a special donation for the relief effort, you can do so by clicking here or by writing a check to FUMC and earmarking it for disaster relief. All money received will be channeled to the United Methodist Committee on Relief where 100% will be used for disaster assistance. We also solicit your prayers for these victims and everyone assisting with the rescue and recovery effort.

Reaching Out: FATHER’S DAY WOMENS SING
Ladies, it's your turn! Time to honor our Father's! We are going to give them a gift for Father’s Day. Whether your Dad is here or with you in spirit, I am inviting ALL women of the church to get together for a one time only event. On Sunday, June 16 (Father’s Day) ALL women are invited to sing. We’ll get together at 8:25 for the 8:55 service and at 10:30 for the 11:00 service. I’ll have the music and we’ll run through it quickly. This will be a fun low key way to say “Happy Father's Day.” Let me know you’ll be singing by dropping a note in the offering plate or emailing me, Mike Keeley, at michaelkeeley@fumcdothan.org.

Reaching Out: STRIPES AND STARS
We are putting together a collage of photos as a part of the “Stripes and Stars” program on Sunday, June 30, at 6:00. There will be a wonderful piece of music backed by photos of members of our church family who are currently serving or have served in the past in the military. Please email those pictures to michaelkeeley@fumcdothan.org as a jpg file. If we already have your photo, you do not need to send it again.

Reaching Out: ALL NEW ONLINE GIVING
There are two easy ways for you to make your contributions electronically. You can visit our website, www.fumcdothan.org, and click the on-line giving link. Even easier, you can set up a direct draft from your bank to the church. That option saves the church in transaction fees. Just like the rest of us, the church relies on a steady income to pay bills throughout the year. Online giving will help the church particularly in the upcoming summer travel season. Questions?
