As we continue to grow in our mission and ministry, we are seeking enthusiastic, creative, and passionate Ministry Interns to join our team. This is a unique opportunity for college students looking to develop leadership, teaching, and ministry skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.
Position Overview:
Ministry Interns will assist their ministry leader in the planning, organization, and implementation of their programs and events. This position is perfect for students interested in ministry, education, child development, leadership, or those looking to deepen their faith while gaining practical experience in a church setting. Possible ministry areas include: Children, Youth, Worship Technology, Communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, organizing, and execution of weekly activities.
- Sunday Morning 8-11:00 | Sunday Night 4:30-6:30 | Wednesday Night 4:30-7:30
- Build relationships with children and their families to create a welcoming and supportive community.
- Assist in the coordination of special events such as Vacation Bible School (VBS), holiday programs, and community outreach events.
- Help prepare and organize classroom materials and resources.
- Participate in team meetings, ministry planning, and brainstorming sessions.
- Provide support during programming hours and other ministry-related activities.
- Engage in regular communication with the ministry leader to discuss goals, progress, and ideas.
- Assist with social media or digital content creation
Qualifications:
- A heart for working in the church and a passion for sharing the love of Christ with the next generation.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Creative, enthusiastic, and flexible, with the ability to think on your feet and adapt to different situations.
- Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute ideas for ministry growth.
- Must pass a background check
- Must be over 18 years old
Preferred (but not required):
- Previous experience working with children in a church or educational setting.
- Currently enrolled in a college or university, preferably in a field related to education, theology, child development, or ministry (but all majors are welcome).
